Monday

Kick off the week on this rainy Monday at the Ateneo Grand Splendid bookstore, considered to be one of the most beautiful in the world, and read something enticing over a cup of coffee while the water does its thing outside. Av. Santa Fe 1860, Recoleta.

Later on, at 6.30pm or 10.50pm, don’t miss the screening of Wim Wender’s The Wings of Desire, a gorgeous 1987 film masterpiece about love and peace. Av. Roque Saenz Peña 1150, downtown.

Tuesday

The Planetarium reopens its doors and kicks off its 2015 stargazing program. Stop by and explore the museum or catch some special sights of the sky. Av. Sarmiento and Belisario Roldán, Palermo.

In the evening, stop by La Catedral for a tango lesson. Sarmiento 4006, Almagro.

Wednesday

Check out the Margaret Bourke-White photography exhibit being showcased at the Centro Cultural Borges. Viamonte 525, downtown.

At 7pm, head to La Trastienda for their Brazilian Wednesday event, Miércoles Carinhosos, and dance all the way past midnight. Balcarce 460, San Telmo.

Thursday

One of the city’s architectural landmarks is the famous Palacio Barolo, full of references to poet Dante Alighieri. Guided tours take place from 4pm to 7pm and evening guided tours at 8.30pm include tasting of an awarded wine and a national delicacy. Av. de Mayo 1370, downtown.

In the evening, stop by Parque Centenario where a free Argentine folklore concert, featuring musicians Antonio Tarragó Ros and Fernando Pisano, will take place at 8.30pm.

Friday

The Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes (MNBA) is showcasing a new photography exhibit on the topic of Latin America. The museum is also featuring a collection of erotic art, and an exhibit dedicated to El Greco. Av. Del Libertador 1473, Recoleta. 

In the evening, head to the Centro Cultural Konex where Juana Molina will be staging a live show! Sarmiento 3131, Abasto.

Saturday and Sunday

This Saturday and Sunday at 6 pm, the circus gets electronic participation from DJs and VJs at Buenos Aires Polo Circo. Combate de los Pozos 1700, Downtown.
